In early 2025, Lady Daphne started her latest adventures as she returned to Kent to be the flagship of the new Intra Maritime Heritage project.
A small crew from Kent ventured down to Penryn, Cornwall, to receive the barge from previous owners Sam and Andy, bringing her back on an exciting 5 day passage in late April.
Having arrived at Lower Halstow safely, she is undergoing some remedial works before commencing an extensive sailing programme from July 25.
She is operated by Tiller & Wheel, an organisation set up to ensure that sailing barges survive and thrive in the 21st Century. We are supported by those who share our vision through our patron initiative – learn more here.
